John Doe, Partner
John Doe, founder of ACME Law Offices, is a respected trial lawyer with a history of success representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. John began his career as an insurance defense lawyer, specializing in defending commercial and general liability injury cases. This early experience as a defense lawyer has given John a unique perspective and now provides an advantage when pursuing cases against large corporations and insurance companies. It did not take John long to realize that his true calling in the law was not working for insurance companies, but helping individuals, and their families, who have been injured through the negligence of others.
In 2010, just shy of his 30th birthday, John started ACME Law Offices. Since opening its doors, the firm has obtained more than 15 million dollars in verdicts and settlements for its clients nationwide. During that time John has achieved a reputation as a tenacious trial lawyer in the Courtroom with a noteworthy history of trial success in high profile cases. John has obtained jury verdicts for his clients nationwide, including a record setting jury verdict in Tennessee for a family injured in a truck accident and a headline making multi-million dollar jury verdict against the City of Chicago for an injured postal worker. John and his staff have been able to help hundreds of clients injured through the negligence of others receive fair and reasonable compensation to help them rebuild their lives.
John has been honored by The National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 trial attorney nationwide, has been recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star for four consecutive years, an honor given to only 2.5% of all attorneys practicing in Illinois, and is a lifetime member of the Million and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum for his trial successes. John is an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, serving on the Board of Advocates and is also active with the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Association of Justice.
John is licensed to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin state and federal courts. John is also fluent in Russian and proficient in Spanish. He is involved with many charities and advocacy groups, including sitting on the Advisory Board of the Active Transportation Alliance, a non-profit advocacy group focused on improving safety for pedestrians and bicyclists in Chicago and Illinois.
John is a life-long Chicagoan, having grown up in the northwest suburbs and now makes his home in Chicago. He is an avid sports fan, hopelessly supporting his beloved Cubs, Bulls and Bears, Hawks and Fighting Illini. In his free time he enjoys traveling, playing sports, and riding his bike.
